iWorkinSport Job Fair: Where top sports organisations find the best candidates
On 19 May, the SwissTech Convention Center in Lausanne, Switzerland, will host iWorkinSport Job Fair, the first international career fair focused on the sports industry, enabling some of the most renowned organisations in the marketplace to meet, interview and recruit students and alumni from the most prestigious sport management courses in Europe.
Adidas, FIFA, IMG, Infront Sports & Media, Libra Law, mycujoo, NBA, PwC, Soccerex, Sportcal, Sportradar and UEFA have already confirmed their participation and will be recruiting at the event, and other organisations will join soon.
iWorkinSport Job Fair creates the perfect platform for organisations wanting to attract the best candidates looking for a job in the sports industry, and works in a very simple and effective way:
1. Recruiters announce, in advance, the positions for which they will be interviewing at the event. Graduates and alumni of our Academic Partners may apply in advance for jobs that are of interest to them, via the event’s website.
2. Recruiters select candidates they would like to interview and invite them to visit at a scheduled time in the programme. Candidates and Employers then meet each other at the event, for a 20-minute interview.
3. Recruiters then follow up with the candidates directly, without any intermediary.
Apart from the hundreds of job interviews taking place, iWorkinSport Job Fair will also host a programme of relevant discussions and presentations focusing on careers in the sports industry.
In order to secure candidates of the highest quality, attendance at the job fair is restricted to students and alumni of some of the most renowned postgraduate courses in sports management. The event’s Academic Partners are: CIES’s the FIFA Master, AISTS, the Johan Cruyff Institute, the University of Liverpool’s Football MBA, the EU Business School, and University of Lausanne’s ISSUL.
iWorkinSport Job Fair is co-organised by ENGAGE Sport & Entertainment, a Swiss-based events company, and the sports innovation network ThinkSport. The inaugural event has the support of the International Centre for Sports Studies – CIES (Gold Partner), WORKS Ltd (Design Partner), Wiz-Team (IT Partner), and of the local hosts, City of Lausanne and the State of Vaud.
