ISAF Women’s Match Racing World Championship will be staged in Middelfart, Denmark. This has just been decided after the presentations in Oman on Monday, and today it has been confirmed officially by ISAF. The Danish bid was up against Szczecin – Swinoujscie, Poland, Long Beach, California, USA, Lysekil, Sweden and Sheboygan, Wisconsin, USA.

The International Sailing Federation has awarded the Danish town, Middelfart in Funen, the world championships for match racers. Denmark will thus play host of yet another sailing event.
